We've got heads on sticks You've got ventriloquists

the uk election is ON. following it with one part excitement, one part pure fear! the bbc election website's live poll tracker is useful...but the current (2pm gmt) result is hardly surprising (or very promising). but trying to stay optimistic...it's not over just yet!

on a happier note..

the little blackbird chicks are looking a lot less scary now they've "grown" feathers...and the tiny nest is getting more and more cramped by the day! i'm yet to snapp a pic of mummy blackbird...she's a bit shy and always abandons the nest when i'm getting too close.
